2013 RBA Pinnacle Awards; Recognizing Rockland’s Best of the Best in Business

The Rockland Business Association held its annual Pinnacle Award Gala April 17, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel, Park Ridge, NJ. Chris Bailey of Vista Electrical Contractors, Inc. was awarded with the Women’s Forum Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in Business, sponsored by Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Bailey is not only a successful woman in business, but one of the only female owners in the electrical contracting industry. “Being recognized in front of people I admire and respect was an amazing feeling, and truly an honor,“ she said. “The Rockland Business Association (RBA) attracts the best of the best in the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey and I am extremely moved by this recognition. I’ve worked for the company since 1995 and purchased it a couple years ago, along with my partners. We have worked hard and are very proud of our accomplishments.”

Vista Electric is an industrial/commercial electrical contracting company, established in 1968, serving the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey.

Other honorees were:

a) Clarkstown Supervisor Alexander J. Gromack; Chairman’s Award for Overall Business Excellence
b) Jonathan Drapkin, Pattern for Progress, President’s Award for Service to the RBA
c) TD Bank, Award for Corporate Citizenship
d) Casabella Holdings LLC, Manufacturer’s Award for Business Excellence
e) Rockland Community Foundation, Outstanding Achievement by a Non-Profit Organization

As always the award dinner was well attended and served to motivate other Rockland County businesses to go above and beyond in the upcoming year in hopes of being one of next year’s recipients of these prestigious awards.
