Cuomo Security Team Flips their Lid, Almost Cancels Stony Point Appearance

Andrew Cuomo made an appearance in Stony Point yesterday for a committee meeting on Hurricane Sandy recovery. Curiously, though Cuomo advertised the meeting as “Open Press” in a bulletin sent to local press, his security team nearly cancelled the entire event when he found individuals advertising it on the Internet. According to notices sent out by local officials, the security detail said they were worried about the governor’s safety and only agreed to go through with the event when all Internet postings were removed.
