To the Editor,
Basically what Rhodes is trying to do in his rambling letter that claims the bloc vote will ditch St. Lawrence and back Koplen is to scare Preserve Ramapo voters into thinking Koplen has an edge over Chris. It is only to boost motivation for his line. In addition, this would make Koplen think erroneously that he has support from Orthodox voters, and stay home for the next week, thinking he has it made.
Preserve will get some Spring Valley votes due to East Ramapo, even though it’s pure rhetoric and the schools will never change, nor will any impact be felt by a new mayor, or county executive. I’st all about Albany. But it helps Bob to get some street cred. The bloc is totally not voting Koplen, since Koplen doesn’t let them build fire traps everywhere, etc.
Koplen is too clean cut to work with the backroom dealers, and in the circles where assistance is needed, i.e. yeshiva zoning, he is too up to code and it frustrates the yeshiva administrators. They are painting Koplen as the enemy, when in reality he is the only candidate that would actually help make yeshivas up to code.
Sincerely,
The Highest Source in Monsey
