House Fire in Monsey

MONSEY – Eleven Rockland County volunteer fire departments this afternoon are battling a house fire that has already heavily damaged a home in Monsey.

The fire at 35 Dolson Road was reported at 11:27 a.m. Volunteer firefighters from across Rockland have been called to assist Tallman firefighters with the blaze in bitter cold conditions.

In battling the blaze, firefighters have asked United Water Co. to boost water pressure in the area for the firefighting effort.
