S.W. Johnson Fire Co. Elects First Female President in 138 Year History

Lisa Castaldo Green  has been elected the first female firefighter president in S.W. Johnson Garnerville Fire Co.’s 138-year history. Her selection as the first president is especially poignant as she became the first female firefighter in the company on July 6, 1999.

Other officers for the 2014-15 board include Vice President John Brehmer, Financial Secretary Kevin Price, Treasurer Richard D. Green, First Assistant Chief Michael Fenner, Captain Troy Spong, First Lieutenant Anthony Tortorello and Second Lieutenant Rafael Brito.

The fire company’s 138th annual dinner will be held at Platzl Brauhaus on May 3, 2014
