Were you a victim of a burglary in Ramapo between August 21 and 29, 2013? Twenty six-year-old Alan DeStephano of 130 Stewart Circle, Suffern might be your culprit.
DeStephano was indicted this week on charges of burglary in the second degree and attempted burglary in the second degree for burglarizing four private residences in the Town of Ramapo and the Village of Sloatsburg between those dates.
Authorities did not reveal why they believe DeStephano went on the sudden crime spree.

I graduated high school with Alan DeStephano and I can tell you he was not good back then. He broke into my locker and stole everything inside. His method was cutting a hole and removing the top portion of the locker. In addition he used to start fires in history class, as well as sticking wet paper towels to the ceilings.
