On Friday, April 4, 2014, the Stony Point Police Department arrested alleged “Molly” dealer David Garrison, 20-years-old, of 15 Brooks Drive in Stony Point.
Police said over the past several weeks they had observed cars driving up to the house and the defendant allegedly walking up to the cars to make what looked like transactions. Upon searching the house, police said they recovered marihuana* and MDMA, aka “Molly or Ecstasy,” a scale and packaging materials consistent with drug dealing.
Garrison was charged with three counts of criminal sale of marihuana in the fourth degree, one count of criminal possession of marihuana in the fifth degree, one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, all of which are misdemeanors. Garrison was also charged with three counts of unlawful possession of marihuana, which are violations.
He was arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court before Judge Frank Phillips, who set bail in the amount of $3,000. He is due back in court on April 15, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Stony Point Police said they were assisted on the case by the Rockland County Intelligence Center, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department’s BCI Unit and the Clarkstown Police Department’s Canine Unit.
Garrison also was the subject of attention from Stony Point Police in September 2012 when he was arrested for hosting an underage drinking party.
