Black Sash Ceremony at Kirkbride Hall

Lao Shr Mike Reynolds (right), head instructor of the Elite Chinese Martial Arts School in Pomona, NY accepts his promotion to 4th Degree Black Sash in Shaolin Kung Fu from his teacher, Sifu Karl Romain of the Edgewater Kung Fu Academy in Edgewater, NJ. The honor occurred during the Black Sash ceremony held in June for both schools. Reynolds was also bestowed the title of Sifu, which means “Accomplished Teacher.”
