Joe Meyers calls legislators “sad…useless misfits” in response to his excommunication by Democrats

Joseph Meyers returned from vacation to discover he’d been excommunicated from the Democratic Party legislative caucus due to his alignment with the county executive in recent budget disputes and other disagreements. Meyers told the Rockland County Times, “Just got back from a cruise. I am a lifelong registered Democrat and will remain so. This is just a very weak and pathetic attempt to punish a supporter of Ed Day. It’s irrelevant and has no meaning to me. It’s just sad. They are such a sad bunch of useless misfits.”
