OCEAN STATE JOB LOT GRAND OPENING THIS WEEKEND

Ocean State Job Lot, 180 North Main St., New City, N.Y. will hold a Grand Opening event on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Various community organizations and businesses will display their information, perform demonstrations and offer prize drawings, including Sesame Street comic book writer Jason Burns (autographs and comic book giveaway), Moti Horenstein’s Mixed Martial Arts, Care About the Strays (onsite cat adoption), and radio station WHUD-FM. Festivities continue throughout the morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. featuring Clarkstown Town Councilwoman Shirley Lasker and other local dignitaries. Ocean State Job Lot will also be giving away a variety of free food samples and a chance to win a $200 shopping spree.
