CLARKSTOWN REPUBLICAN TOWN COMMITTTE LAUNCHES NEW “WE CARE ABOUT CLARKSTOWN” CAMPAIGN

PRESS RELEASE

The Clarkstown, NY GOP Committee Chair, Robert A. Axelrod, announced the start of a new campaign to utilize the talents, resources and efforts of our 200+ committee members to help make our community a better place.

The campaign, which will be called “We Care About Clarkstown”, will identify opportunities to lend our support to local community projects and help improve conditions for the people who live in the hamlets of Clarkstown: Nanuet, Congers, Valley Cottage, Bardonia, New City, West Nyack and Upper Nyack. The Republican committee people who make up the Clarkstown political organization have committed to making a difference in their community. Some of the types of projects being considered by the committee include a project to support our local military service people, public workshops, a local speakers’ bureau, charity fundraisers, support for clothing/food collection drives, and general volunteerism.

Chairman Axelrod said, “We think it’s important for the people of Clarkstown to see us as the group of civic minded neighbors, committed to serving our local community – of which we are.” The projects and initiatives of the “We Care About Clarkstown” group will demonstrate that, political party issues aside, our Republican Committee members care about Clarkstown and will demonstrate this by offering their time and support to their fellow neighbors.” He added, “The Clarkstown GOP is looking for anyone, regardless of voting affiliation, who would like to participate in these projects to benefit our community. Just call at (845) 729-9450 or email me at [email protected], and we will welcome your support with open arms.”
