Shades Repertory Theatre in Haverstraw presents “Gaspar” written by Moira Beebe Box and directed by Kathleen Foster November 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. A young girl is visited in her dreams by Gaspar, a witty, comical 16th Century character, who only she can see. Gaspar gives the young woman a new perspective on life. Starring Ebon’ee Collens, Sienna Jeffries, Toni Sowa and Frank Hughes. Information at 845-675-8044.

Bob Dylan’s former bandleader Rob Stoner has been added to the ArtsRock Magic Guitar series that celebrates Dylan at the Union Arts Center in Sparkhill Friday, November 8 at 8 p.m.

Antrim playhouse director Derek Tarson is looking for someone to play the role of Pablo in a Streetcar Named Desire In January and February of 2014.
