Can you imagine going to school and not being prepared and kids making fun of you because your parents couldn’t afford supplies, new sneakers, shoes or even clothes. This does happen but remember every child is entitled to an education. To help children in need donate to the Village of Haverstraw’s annual Backpack of Success Drive.
The village’s goal is 1,000 backpacks!ย Distributions of Backpack will be onย Sunday, August 27,ย EMELINE PARK.ย Late Lunch and distribution of backpacks begins atย 4 p.m.
The average cost of each backpack with supplies is approximately $20.ย How can you help!ย We need to raise money to buy supplies, food and the necessary items to make the event a success.
