On Sunday, the Village of Haverstraw and the Quisqueya Sports Club held their annual Dominican flag raising ceremony. Assistant District Attorney Rosibel Ventura, who was born in the Dominican Republic and came to New York when she was 11-years-old, was recognized by Quisqueya Sports Club for her work in the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office.
District Attorney Walsh recognized Vanesa Martinez with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office Community Service Award for her tireless work in helping Rockland residents find Covid-19 tests and vaccinations.
