Man Fatally Shot in Pomona

Haverstraw Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in Pomona Sunday night.

Eric Quinoes, a 33-year-old Haverstraw resident, was hit with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Manors Apartment Complex at 229 Route 202 at approximately 7 p.m., according to the Town of Haverstraw Police.

Quinoes was transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said. The Rockland County Sheriff’s Department is assisting with the investigation.

The shooting is Rockland’s first homicide this year.
